Businesses will be required to enter into a contract with takepayments Limited and a separate contract with an acquiring bank for the processing of the card transactions. Contracts are subject to approval. The stated card processing rates apply to the contract with the acquiring bank and are subject to status. Other fees may apply and there may be a minimum monthly service charge. The rates may vary during the term of the contract with the acquiring bank.
*This offer is only available to 1st Formations members who enter into a new terminal hire contract with takepayments for a takepaymentsplus terminal between 1st December 2023 and 1st December 2024 (inclusive). Eligible businesses will receive a discount of 50% off their terminal rental charges (excluding VAT), in respect of rental charges up to £25 per month (excluding VAT). Rental charges per terminal in excess of £25 per month (excluding VAT) will be eligible for a total discount of £12.50 discount per month per terminal. The discounted rental charges apply only for the first 12 months of the contract and no cash alternative is available. This offer applies only to the terminal rental charges otherwise payable to takepayments. Businesses will remain liable to pay all other applicable charges, including any charges applied by the business’s acquiring bank under the separate contract for the processing of the card transactions. takepayments may withdraw or amend this offer without notice in its discretion.

†This service is available to takepayments Limited customers who are accepted for acquiring services and is subject to the acquirers' approval and terms & conditions. Your card machine’s banking window function must be performed before the acquirer's set time in order to receive settlement the next day or next banking day. Transactions processed via Ecommerce pay pages, pay by link and virtual terminals may be subject to different settlement timescales.
